Commercial Hydroponics

Have you ever wondered why commercial hydroponics in India isn’t very successful? When you look at all the farms that have come up – and closed down; you wonder why isn’t it working? Well to us the answer is very clear – we’re basically trying to lift a system that works very well in the temperate / cold climates of the west and trying to implement in the harsh summers of India! Well we have a different approach. We are evangelizing a way where we grow indoors – completely climate controlled – under artificial lights and have managed to perfect a system that grows wonderful healthy plants throughout the year!

Making hydroponics work

Well, think about it. Hydroponics doesn’t really work above 25 degrees. Now we can stretch it to another couple of degrees (say 270°C) , but are now we’re testing the limits of being able to grow anything at all! The cooling systems that are currently used include a fan pad setup and misters. Optimally this will reduce the temperature by another 10 odd °C (I don’t even want to start talking about the humidity problems that occur while using these systems). So you now can maintain 27°C even when the outside is 37°C. Basically if the outside temperature exceeds 37°C your hydroponic system is on downtime. Now, that’ll be the story for at least 2 – 4 months in a year. Unfortunately the maximum profit that you’ll get for your produce is also in those very 2 – 4 months! So you lose out on a great price and at the same time will lose out by your system being on downtime!!

We make, use and sell modular, vertical, indoor commercial systems for large scale climate controlled food production. Our flagship Tashi systems come in many configurations – choose one that fits you the best and start your hydroponic farm today

The Tashi Lineup

The Tashi is our flagship indoor commercial unit. Using the NFT technology and leveraging on the vertical format – we can grow upto 4 times denser in these systems

Why The Tashi?

MODULAR

Its modular nature lets you add systems as you grow and perfect the growing process. There is no large upfront cost and no minimum orders. Invest what you feel comfortable with and grow your farm as you grow your business!

CLIMATE CONTROLLED

Our inbuilt Growlights and vertical nature help you climate control your system with minimum costs. That’s because of the small footprint of the systems that lets you fit many of them in a room cooled by the same air conditioner (AC)
